What is our aim?
Our aim is to raise awareness of international politics and diplomacy, to arouse the public interest in the benefits of international organisations and to support personal and professional development of students from all over the Czech Republic by organizing educational projects and panel discussions.
Current projects
Simulation of a European Parliament Session at Your School!
‘The European Union of Young Diplomats’ is a one-day project held directly at secondary schools across the Czech Republic. Participants will have the chance to test their knowledge about the European Union, improve their soft skills, and work together to propose improvements to make the European Union even better for all its citizens. Participants will also get the unique opportunity to meet esteemed guests and engage in discussions on the European Union and beyond.

Raising Awareness About the Situation in Ukraine Among High School Students
In 2023 and 2024, our team organized a series of one-day projects titled ‘The Ukraine Crisis and Me, the European’, focused on the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine and its impact on the Czech student community and the broader public. This project, held at schools across the Czech Republic, included simulations of European Parliament sessions, training on identifying disinformation, activities to improve soft skills, and discussions on the current situation in Ukraine and the European Union with esteemed guests.

Study Visit to Strasbourg with Tomáš Zdechovský
The most active delegates of the European Parliament of Young Diplomats 2022 educational project, along with other students, were invited by Member of the European Parliament Mr. Tomáš Zdechovský to visit the European Parliament Hemicycle in Brussels.
The European Parliament Meeting at Schools Across the Czech Republic
In the autumn of 2022, we visited hundreds of students at their schools across the Czech Republic with our popular one-day projects. Within the single day, participants experienced a simulation of a European Parliament session, improved their soft skills through interactive activities, debated the role of the European Union in Europe and met with distinguished guests.

The five-day ‘European Parliament of Young Diplomats’ took place from November 7th to 11th, 2022, concluding the series of projects under the European Union of Young Diplomats initiative. Participants from across the Czech Republic engaged in deliberations on the submitted proposals and had the unique opportunity to discuss with distinguished guests.

Students as the European Commission Shaped New Legislative Initiatives of the EU
The ‘European Commission of Young Diplomats’ followed the ‘European Council of Young Diplomats’ project. The participants simulating the European Commissioners thoroughly examined the thematic areas previously specified by the ‘European Council of Young Diplomats’ and drafted legislative proposals.

The European Council Meeting
From October 17th to 19th, 2022, our team organized the simulation of the European Council Meeting in which participants identified thematic areas that were incorporated into subsequent simulated meeting of European Union institutions. This project was the first of the series of activities constituting the European Union of Young Diplomats initiative which was designed to innovatively introduce the sequence of the actual European legislative process to the participants.

The European Parliament Meeting in Pilsen
From 25th to 30th November 2019, we organized the educational project in Plzeň, where students from across the Czech Republic had the opportunity to experience what a meeting of the European Parliament is like. The participants also engaged in discussions with distinguished guests and gained a wealth of new information about the European Union.

The European Parliament Meeting at Schools Across the Czech Republic
Throughout the 2019/2020 academic year, our team organized a series of one-day projects which were held at high schools across the Czech Republic. This initiative allowed students to act as the Members of the European Parliament for a day and acquire practical experience through their work. Additionally, the participants enhanced their soft skills and had the opportunity to meet and engage in discussions with esteemed guests.
An Inside Look at the Work of the Police Presidium
High school and university students were given the unique opportunity to gain an inside look at the work of police units at the operations center in Holešovice. The students were introduced to the daily operations at the Police Presidium and were also given a tour of the operations centre.

The Meeting of the European Parliament Simulation in Pilsen
From December 17th to 21st, 2018, students from across the Czech Republic participated in our five-day educational project, which included discussions with distinguished guests, a wealth of information about the European Union, and numerous activities aimed at enhancing their soft skills.
Meeting of the European Council in the Regions
With our two-day educational student’s project “The European Summits of Young Diplomats” we visited main regional cities across the Czech Republic, whereby we enabled students and citizens interested in European affairs to get actively involved in our project.
Future Diplomats Visited The Czernin Palace
Young diplomats from all over the Czech Republic visited, with our association, The Czernin Palace – the seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. We firmly believe that many of the tour’s attendees will return to the Czernin Palace, this time, however, in the roles of diplomats or the ministry’s employees.
European Council Meeting in Pilsen
Students from all over the Czech Republic had a unique chance to take part in a European Council meeting simulation and thus take on the roles of presidents or prime ministers of particular member states of the European Union. An integral part of the project were also panel discussions with MEPs, diplomats and experts.

Selected students from all over the Czech Republic had a unique chance with our association to privately meet with the director of the Foreign Affairs Department of The Office of the President of the Czech Republic right in the beautiful and not commonly publicly available spaces of Prague Castle.
The UN Meeting Simulation
The Pilsen Academy of Young Diplomats aimed to raise awareness about The United Nations among students and general public through The UN model using the most realistic simulation possible. During the simulated meeting the participants were apprised of the current international affairs and global issues and thus they gained better insight and better understanding.
